Future of Nursing 2020 - 2030 – July 24 Philadelphia Town Hall
The National Academy of Medicine will host the second of three regional town hall meetings on the future of nursing. The theme of the Philadelphia meeting is Payment and Care for Complex Health and Social Needs.
Speakers will discuss caring for populations with complex health and social needs, including school-age children, seniors, rural communities, and low-income, first-time mothers. They will also share federal, state, local, and regional perspectives on payment models for the care of vulnerable and high-risk populations.
The town hall will help inform the Future of Nursing 2020-2030 study, which will create a vision for nursing practice and education in the next decade.
