Future of the U.S. Electric Power System – Nov. 1 Workshop

On Nov. 1, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host a workshop to explore the role of computing, communications, and information technologies in the future U.S. electric power system. The workshop is part of the information-gathering process for a consensus study that is evaluating strategies for modernizing the U.S. electric power system.

Speakers from federal agencies, research institutions, and members of the study committee will discuss topics including cybersecurity, resilience risks, and the relationship between different computing and communication technologies and strategies.
