June 20 Workshop and Webcast: Impacts of Sexual Harassment in Academia

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine are conducting a study on the influence of sexual harassment in academia on the career advancement of women in the scientific, technical, and medical workforce.  As part of its information-gathering efforts, the study committee will convene a  workshop in Irvine, Calif., on June 20.  Scholars, educators, professional society leaders, and policy experts will discuss the prevalence, nature, and impacts of sexual harassment, as well as policies, strategies, and practices for addressing sexual harassment in academia. See the agenda for more information.
