New Report Offers Plan for Assessing Organohalogen Flame Retardants for Hazards

A Class Approach to Hazard Assessment of Organohalogen Flame Retardants, a new report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, offers guidance to the Consumer Product Safety Commission on how to conduct a hazard assessment of these flame retardants, which are used in upholstered furniture, mattresses, plastic electronic casings, and other products.
