Media Advisory: Review of Advances Made to the EPA’s IRIS Process – New Report

A new report by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine examines the changes implemented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) program in response to the recommendations outlined in the Academies’ Review of EPA's Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) Process (2014) and Review of the Environmental Protection Agency's Draft IRIS Assessment of Formaldehyde (2011). The IRIS program evaluates information on health effects that may result from exposure to certain chemicals.
