Information Technology, Automation, and the U.S. Workforce – New Report
Technological advances can create enormous economic and other benefits, but they can also lead to significant changes for workers. A new report by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine examines current and possible future impacts of emerging information and communication technologies on the U.S. workforce. The report will set forth a research agenda and describe types and sources of data that would enhance understanding of the workforce impacts of IT and automation.
