Understanding Immigration -- Public Seminar Oct. 25
Sound statistics on immigration trends are essential to creating and implementing effective policies. The National Research Council will hold a public seminar to examine current data collection and estimation methods that inform immigration policy and associated challenges. Speakers from the Pew Research Center, the White House Office of Management and Budget, and academic institutions will present on issues involved in measuring immigration and opportunities for future improvement.
The seminar will take place on Oct. 25 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Lecture Room of the National Academy of Sciences building, 2101 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
