The Sociology of Aging -- New Report
Economic changes, such as proposals to increase the age of eligibility for Social Security and Medicare, as well as demographic and social trends are altering the social landscape for older people. The Future of the Sociology of Aging: An Agenda for Action, a new report from the National Research Council, recommends ways for the National Institute on Aging to collect and analyze relevant data that will be useful for policymakers.
