Distinctive Voices@The Beckman Center Announces Fall Lecture Series


Lectures explore topics ranging from earthquakes to napping

 

IRVINE, Calif. – Distinctive Voices@The Beckman Center announced today its fall lecture series.  The programs feature award-winning scientists and engineers discussing recent findings and research developments in their fields.  Topics include the ancient Maya, impact of earthquakes in southern California, future of the Internet, science comedy, and wildlife and ecology. 

 

A dessert reception following each event provides attendees with further opportunity to continue the stimulating conversations sparked during the presentations.  The events are free and open to the public; for more details, visit www.voicesatbeckman.org.
