Assessment of the Information Sciences Directorate at the Army Research Office – New Report May 10
The U.S. Army Research Laboratory’s Army Research Office (ARO) describes its mission as “to serve as the Army’s principal extramural basic research agency in the engineering, physical, information, and life sciences; developing and exploiting innovative advances to ensure the nation’s technological superiority.”
At the request of the U.S. Army, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Panel on Review of Extramural Basic Research at the Army Research Laboratory met to review the programs of the Information Sciences Directorate (ISD) of the ARO.
Assessment of the Information Sciences Directorate at the Army Research Office, a new report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, provides findings, conclusions, and recommendations for each of the ISD divisions: Computing Science, Network Science, and Mathematical Sciences.
