Public Tours of the JOIDES Resolution

The Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) is pleased to announce the availability of several public tours of the scientific drilling vessel JOIDES Resolution when the ship returns to Victoria, Canada in early September. The ship will be docked at Ogden Point in downtown Victoria and tours will be available on September 6, 7, and 8 at the times listed below. Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes information about core processing and life onboard. Tours will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and we will do our best to accommodate all requests. Due to security requirements, all tour participants must provide their first and last names and affiliation to sign up for a tour and each participant will need to bring a government-issued photo ID with them to the tour.
