The following topics were discussed in the closed sessions: Objectives for this Meeting
1. Review Chapter 2--principal science and technology gaps and their priorities.
2. Review Chapter 4--strategic opportunities to leverage research and development.
3. Review Chapter 3--core capabilities and infrastructure at national laboratories that will be needed to address EM’s long-term, high-risk cleanup challenges.
4. Discuss and agree on Findings and Recommendations on the maintenance of core capabilities and EM sites to address cleanup challenges.
5. Get tentative sign off on the report for the initial review stage, so that when editing is completed it can go into review.
