PLEASE NOTE:

The meeting is being held for the panel to gather information, which the panel will consider during its closed deliberations. Opinions expressed by panel members in open session may not necessarily reflect the position they actually hold on the subject or the consensus position of the panel. The panel’s positions may evolve in the course of its deliberations.
The panel’s draft report will be reviewed by experts who are anonymous to the panel. The panel must address all review comments, and the draft report must successfully pass the rigorous NRC review process before it is released as an NRC report. Any inferences about findings or recommendations in advance of the report’s release that are derived from panel comments at meetings would be premature, and they should not be attributed as a panel position.
